Apr 14 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
April Meeting // Common Injuries / Prevention / Rehabilitation @ The Lab | Santa Barbara | California | United States

Our April Meeting will be happening at The Lab, just behind Hazard's, on Gray Street. Appropriately so, as our April speaker, is none other than Mike Swan, owner and practicing physical therapist at Elite Performance and Rehabilitation and gracious sponsor of the club. Mike's been on many podiums and has been training and rehabilitating athletes from finisher to Kona qualifier even before Elite's inception in 2002. With gifted athleticism, grit, and persistence, Mike has been honored the title of All American, 5 times, qualified and participated in Hawaii's Ironman World Championship, a club record of 7 times, and still holds the age-group record (1994) for long course (4:23:07) and (1990) for the Olympic (1:33:17) at Wildflower. An active ultra-marathon runner, Mike also enjoys trail running, spending time with his wife and 3 athletic dogs.

Please arrive early for food service and social at 6pm.
Meeting promptly begins at 6:30pm.

We deviate from our normal Thursday meeting in June!

SB Tri Club is so pleased to welcome Triathlon Legend, Julie Moss as our featured speaker for our June Meeting.

Julie Moss, a passionate surfer (not previously drawn to competitive sports), embarked on a day in 1982 that would give first-hand insight to her graduate work, a thesis on training and physiological requirements of endurance sports. Little did she know, her race, her heart would impact the sport of triathlon with the most epic finish in Triathlon history.
SB Tri Club invites you to welcome and be inspired by Julie Moss.
