- We will set up your Heart Rate and Power Training Zones to make your workouts more effective
- Each athlete will leave with a card displaying their specific zones
- Make sure to bring your Heart Rate monitor, a water bottle and towel
- Our Power Cycles have SPD Cleats (same as spin bikes) or you can wear running shoes and use the cages and peddles
Curly Guillen locally born and raised in Santa Barbara, just completed the LA marathon and finished 18th in 2:25:33. He competed back in college and then took a long break from the sport. In the last couple of years he has returned to running with a vengeance, loosing over 50lbs and is competing at an elite level. Curly is a father, raising two kids and works two jobs in his pursuit for excellence. He is currently striving to improve and has set his sights on his dream on qualifying for the Olympic trials.
New and Current members are invited... May Meeting, Friday Night, at the home of Heather Reed. New and Current Member BBQ Social. Club is providing grilled chicken, paleo and veggie burgers. Parking is limited, except at the end of the street, where there is a field with plenty of parking. We suggest you car pool, and designate a driver, or use Uber, Lyft, Yellow Cab etc....
Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite drinks and if you name is
A-M section of alphabet brings desserts (unless your name is Renaud, and you can bring anything)
N-Z section of alphabet dishes/salads
If you are vegan, vegetarian, paleo, etc let us know. Last year's party was a big hit, so celebrate Friday night, then let's go show the college kids why someday want to be SBTri on Saturday morning at the Battle of the Sands
