[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We're in for a treat this March! We've got local bike fanatic and tech geek, Tom Anhalt sharing his adventures in bike technology, wind tunnels, wheel depths, aero properties of water bottles. Tom's obviously an engineer that rides bikes and geeks out on the technology behind it. Gonna be an exciting meeting! Don't miss it! Click on the GIF below to read his blog, "Blather 'bout Bikes."[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column css=".vc_custom_1457414981185{padding-top: 30px !important;}"][vc_column_text]Oh and [nudge nudge], sponsor Kristen and Mike Desmond of Flagstone Pantry (located in the SB Public Market) are catering our event. If you haven't had Flagstone fare yet, it's a good opportunity to see what you've been missing. Learn more about the Desmond's and Flagstone Pantry by clicking their charming photo.
Gonna be an exciting and delicious meeting! Don't miss it![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
The Spring Track & Field School Games provides the only inter-school athletic competition opportunity for children and teens with intellectual disabilities.
Students from Carpinteria, Goleta, Santa Barbara, and Santa Ynez Valley and more will train for two months with the help of participating Special Education teachers to compete in this event! There are various ways to show your support for these students including helping with staging, heat sheets, timing, awards, and of course set up and break down.
Registration is now available to volunteer at the 8th Annual School Games! To register, visit: 2016-sb-springschoolgames-volunteer.my-trs.com
