IT'S BACK: Battle in the Sand!
Help SB Tri Club get back the title from UCSB Tri Club. Sign up for a relay team of swimmers and runners. You can let us know if you'd prefer to swim, run or open to either or both! All levels are welcome and EVERYONE is encouraged to attend!!
The approximate swim distance is 500m ocean swim.
The approximate run distance is a 1 mile beach run.
Please sign up to participate (swim, run, both, either, volunteer to help) - HERE
Format of the event: Each club creates multiple 6 person relay teams (all women team, all men team, co-ed team), and the relay works like this: swim to run to swim to run to swim to run (3 swimmers and 3 runners per team). The club that has the most victories wins the trophy. We need as many participants as possible as we will field as many teams as possible, everyone participates!!
Look for the SB Tri Club tent on the beach in front of the Bathhouse. Help us crush UCSB Tri, then hang with the club, post race snack and beautiful sunshine provided!!
Bragging rights are at stake!

Cherie is a 13-time IRONMAN world champion, multiple age group course record holder and a three-time IRONMAN 70.3 world champion. She is the founder of Exceeding Expectations, a San Bernardino-based nonprofit that encourages at-risk youth to move their lives in a positive direction using triathlon as a vehicle.
