We've held the title for the last few years against the young whippersnappers of the UCSB Tri Team, and our Rincon Triathlon friends. All levels are welcome in this friendly swim/run relay. Race or represent, enjoy paradise, and show true Blue by cheering everyone on.
Let us know you'll swim / run / or help out by RSVP'ng HERE!
The Auburn Triathlon is held annually in Auburn, CA (the Endurance Capital of the World) and consists of the World’s Toughest Half (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run), the Auburn International Triathlon (.9 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike, 6.2 mile run), the Auburn Mini Triathlon (500 meter swim, 8 mile bike, 2.6 mile run), and the Auburn Long Course Aquabike (1.2 mile swim and 56 mile bike).
NOTE!!!
The Tuesday Night Running Workout for next Tuesday, August 2, will be “off-track”, meeting at Leadbetter Beach at 6:15 (ready to run, already warmed up), at the west end, a.k.a. the Nite Moves transition. We will be doing interval repeats up the hill and down in preparation for the SB Long Course triathlon 10 mile run, which hopefully everyone has been training on. Everyone is welcome to come out and join the fun, to help boost your training and build your confidence in preparation for race day. Bring a watch or your HRM, I hope to see you there! Fred

Saturday June 4, will be our monthly unified club ride. This will be a "no-drop" ride leaving from East Beach at 8:15.
The ride will be the Santa Barbara Long Course bike course, out over Toro to Gub and back over Toro to East Beach. If you want to ride shorter or longer feel free to join us for part of the ride.
The ride will re-group in Summerland, at the turn on 192 in Carpinteria and at the bottom of Gub on the way out. On the way back it will be ride your own pace with someone sweeping at the back. The emphasis is on getting a good ride and getting to ride with friends! This is an open ride, you don't need to be a member to ride with us.

We deviate from our normal Thursday meeting in June!
SB Tri Club is so pleased to welcome Triathlon Legend, Julie Moss as our featured speaker for our June Meeting.
Julie Moss, a passionate surfer (not previously drawn to competitive sports), embarked on a day in 1982 that would give first-hand insight to her graduate work, a thesis on training and physiological requirements of endurance sports. Little did she know, her race, her heart would impact the sport of triathlon with the most epic finish in Triathlon history.SB Tri Club invites you to welcome and be inspired by Julie Moss.
