What makes the difference between champions and those who
Due to insufficient interest (not enough RSVPs), the clinic is CANCELLED. We typically need at least 10 to carry out a clinic. If you still desire taking a bike skills clinic, contact the SB Bike Coalition for instruction. Click on the logo to the left. They're a great organization that have worked wonders for the cycling community of SB.
We as SB Tri Club want to get you out on the road, training, enjoying the beauty of where we live (and putting you at ease as to why you pay the rent).
So first things first, whether you're the most experienced rider or hesitant to get on your bike, become a more confident rider by attending our Bike Skills / Ride / Brunch at the East Beach Parking Lot. Look for the SB Tri Club Tent.
So grateful to Measure A and the SB Bike Coalition for facilitating the event. I will reiterate, all levels are welcome and encouraged.
Couple things before you show up:
- Please show up promptly and ready to bike at 7:30am.
- Complete this portion of the course online at bikeed.org.
- Understand your rights & responsibilities as a driver operating a bicycle safely and legally on public roadways. Most importantly, develop the ability to identify unsafe traffic situations and make decisions that can prevent crashes and collisions.
- Before showing up, print and fill out The Online Waiver and bring it to the event.
We'll have a ride following the clinic and group together according to our ride intentions. I will say yet again, all levels are welcome and encouraged.
Join us for brunch afterward at East Beach Grill! So come on out for 1 or all consecutive activities!

We deviate from our normal Thursday meeting in June!
SB Tri Club is so pleased to welcome Triathlon Legend, Julie Moss as our featured speaker for our June Meeting.
Julie Moss, a passionate surfer (not previously drawn to competitive sports), embarked on a day in 1982 that would give first-hand insight to her graduate work, a thesis on training and physiological requirements of endurance sports. Little did she know, her race, her heart would impact the sport of triathlon with the most epic finish in Triathlon history.SB Tri Club invites you to welcome and be inspired by Julie Moss.
