We have added the 2000-meter Open Ocean Swim.
We also feature a kid's Mile and a Soft Sand Sprint for the small children.
Post-race events include live music, food sampling soft drinks and adult beverages, bib drawing door prizes, and a variety of vendors throughout the summer.

SAN FRANCISCO – The legendary Escape from Alcatraz™ Triathlon is set to make a return to the streets and waters of San Francisco on Sunday, June 1. Organized by IMG, a global sports, events and representation company, the iconic race will be celebrating its 44th year in the scenic Bay Area where over 10,000 athletes are anticipated to vie for one of the 2,000 coveted spots through a Random Drawing. Registration for the Random Drawing opens on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 9:30 am PST (Pacific Standard Time) and will run through Friday, Dec. 13 at 11:59 p.m. PST (Pacific Standard Time).

Goleta Beach Holiday Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, Kid's 1-Mile
The race venue is located at the beautiful Goleta Beach Park located in Santa Barbara County. Run course is on a dedicated asphalt course. Events include a Half-Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kid's 1-Mile run.
